Methods GI refer to the synthesis of the final compounds. The lower pK, usually refers to the proton gained by the imidazole while the higher number refers to the pK, for the protonation of the amino group in the@-blocking side chain.'Represents the partition coefficient as measured in 1-octanol/pH 7.4 buffer.
