摘要

Experimental for the preparation of : Ethanolamine (3.66 g, 60 mmol) was added to 4,6-diphenyl-2H-pyran-2-thione (13.2 g, 50 (mmol) in boiling methanol (250 ml) and the resulting mixture was heated at reflux for 5 h. After cooling volatiles were removed under reduced pressure and the residual material was thoroughly washed with water, dried under vacuum and the crude pyridine-2-thione (12.75 g, 83%) thus obtained was used without further purification in the ...
