摘要

Hydrocyanation of a range of protected β-hydroxyalkynes give unsaturated nitriles which can be cyclised to-alkylidene γ-lactones and in most cases the regioselectivity of hydrocyanation can be controlled giving the desired cyanoalkenes with stereospecific formation of the-isomer.
