Abstract In this study, one-pot rapid and efficient series of phenylazetidin-2-ones were synthesized from N, N-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, different substituted aromatic amines and phenylacetyl chloride in the presence of zeolite catalyst under microwave irradiation.
