摘要

Treatment of trimethylsilyl benzoates 1 with xenon difluoride in CHCl or CF results in a novel ester rearrangement and formation of aryl fluoroformates 2: rearrangement is not observed in MeCN solution in which the main products are arenes formed the corresponding aryl radical.
