摘要

The thermal decomposition of methyl benzenediazo sulfone (IC) has been investigated in four different solvents. In three nonpolar solvents, benzene, cumene, and diphenylmethane, the principal identifiable decomposition products (Table I) are all ones that can be most easily interpreted as arising via a mechanism involving initial homolytic dissociation of IC and free-radical intermediates.
