Abstract The debenzoylation of 2-[(amino)(benzoylamino) methylidene] cyclohexane-1, 3- diones (addition products of cyclohexane-1, 3-diones with benzoylcyanamide) affords the corresponding 2-diaminomethylidenecyclohexane-1, 3-diones.
