The lack of mutual solubility of completely hydroge- nated (RH) and completely fluorinated (RF) derivatives (oils and surfactants) has been a subject of investigation over the last few years. These studies have shown that the segregation phenomena observed are highly dependent on the molecular structures of the various components (conformations of the various RF and RH chains) (1). ... We have been studying these mutual solubility phenome-
