JAK2 (Janus kinase 2) is a member of a family of non-receptor cytoplasmic tyrosine kinases which include JAK1, JAK3, and TYK2. 1 This family of kinases share similar structural motifs, and all have a JH1 kinase domain at the C terminus with an adjacent JH2 pseudokinase domain.
