3-FormylcycZohexanes~~~ ocyclopentane-2: 4-dione and 2-formyl-5: 5- dimethylcyclohexane-1: 3-dione have been synthesised, and their ultraviolet and infrared absorption spectra studied and compared with those of 3-formylpentane-2: 4-dione.
