Experimental Part p-Ethoxythiophenol, CzH50C6HHSH.-'J! his thiophenol has previously been prepared by Lagaig and also Gattermann.'o By application of the technique of Leuckartll we succeeded in preparing the same compound in good yield (7770) from p- phenetidine.
