(1): Method I. A mixture of 9-0-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl) su-pinidine (7B)(0.75 g, 2.96 mmol) and ammonium fluoride (0.22 g, 5.92 mmol) in dry methanol (60 mL) was stirred and kept at 60'C for 18 h.
