摘要

Methods for the preparation of sec-mercaptoalkylamine hydrochlorides are presented. The scheme used for the preparation of these compounds involves the preparation of sec- benzylthionitroalkanes, followed by reduction of the nitro group with lithium aluminum hydride and reductive debenzylation with sodium in liquid ammonia to free the mercaptan.
