The stereospecific interactions of the eight stereoisomers of dihydromethylcyclothiazide, an analogue of cyclothiazide, with AMPA-type glutamate receptors was investigated using electrophysiological methods that measured the ability of each stereoisomer to inhibit AMPA receptor desensitization.
