摘要

The complex base NaNH2-t-BuONa allowed expeditious syntheses of indoles by arynic cyclisation of imines or enaminoketones prepared from halogeno anilines and carbonyl derivatives. Unstable imines may be used without purification, complex bases being unsensitive to impurities.
