Autotaxin (ATX) is an attractive target for the anticancer therapeutics that inhibits angiogenesis, invasion and migration. ATX is an extracellular lysophospholipase D that hydrolyzes lysophosphatidylcholine to form the bioactive lipid lysophosphatidic acid.
