摘要

The syntheses of the oxazole dienyl amine portions of griseoviridin (2) and madumycin I1 (3) have been completed in optically active form. The novel preparation of a functionalized oxazole ring and the unique diastereomeric resolution of a 1, 3-dihydroxy compound are described. The stereospecific synthesis of a dienylphthalimide by means of tributylvinylphosphonium bromide on a complex aldehyde has also been demonstrated.
