Forty-one 3, 3-spiro-sul, stituted 1i) drothiazitlPs\ wre synthesized by thc co~ i-densation of substituted 4-amino-], 3-1) enaeriedisulfonaniides with cyclic ketones or the corresponding ethylene ketals. Five different synthetic procedures were employed and a comparison of these: md other methods n-as made using the reaction of 4-amino-6-chloro-1, 3-I~ enzeri~ disulfo1i~ i~ ii~~~~ with cyclohexanone as a prototype.
