Abstract Syntheses of methyl 3-O-α-d-galactopyranosyl-α-d-mannopyranoside (10) and methyl 3-O-α-d-galactopyranosyl-2-O-(β-d-glucopyranosyluronic acid)-α-d- mannopyranoside (11) in good yield are described.
