We have identified a new class of triarylmethyl amine compounds that can inhibit apolipoprotein E (apoE) production. ApoE is a cholesterol-and lipid-carrier protein implicated in aging, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's Disease (AD), and other neurological and lipid-related disorders.
