N-Acetylmuramyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine (MDP) and thirteen new analogs were synthesized by the conventional organic chemical procedure using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide-N-hydroxy-5-norbornene-2, 3-dicarboximide as a coupling agent.
