In an effort to develop selective antagonists for K opioid receptors, bivalent ligands that contain opioid antagonist pharmacophores derived from naltrexone or other morphinans were synthesized and tested on the guinea pig ileum (GPI) and mouse vas deferens (MVD) preparations.
