摘要

IIa and IIb being prepared by Greenstein's procedure. 6 However, this procedure affords IIa more easily than IIb. It is also interesting to note that under identical diazotization conditions, the yield of the resulting a-bromo acids was higher when prepared from alloisoleucine (50%) than isoleucine (35%). This effect may reflect the steric requirements' governing the diazotization of amino acids.
