(25) Subsequent to our communication on the synthesis2~ 1E of 17, another synthetic route23 for the preparation of 17 was described using 2, 3, 6-triaminopyridin-Cone (2 HCI. 0.2 CPHBO) as starting material. Ring closure of this material afforded a 47% yield of 17. pp 129-136.
