摘要

Abstract The reaction of 1-methyldibenzosilole with elemental sulphur gave almost quantitatively bis (1-methyldibenzosilole) sulphide (I), the structure of which was determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P2 1/n (No. 14) with a 1772.8 (3), b 921.6 (3), c 1417.5 (2) pm, β 102.09 (1) and Z= 4. The molecule is bent, with an Si S Si bond angle of 108.8 (1).
