(CHI) CH&Hs] to 1-(2-benzofuryl)-2-methylaminoethanol (111,-" CHI) was carried out with prereduced palladized charcoal under the Same conditions as those described above for the preparation of the 2, a-dihydrobenzofuran amino alcohols (IV).
