摘要

Dijuorocarbene, generated by photolysis or pyrolysis of dijuorodiazirine, reacts with olefins to form dijuorocyclopropanes. The addition is stereospeciJc in nature and thus suggests a singlet state for diyuorocarbene. The yield of dijhorocyclopropane shows a dependence on the degree of substitution of the ole& temperature of reaction, and amount 0, zxcess olejn.
