Spectral and single crystal X-ray structural studies on [Tl (mchdtc)] 2 (1) and [Tl (echdtc)] 2 (2)(where mchdtc= methylcyclohexyldithiocarbamate and echdtc= ethylcyclohexyldithiocarbamate) were carried out.
