Methods have been developed for the preparation of 2-(2 (RS)-aminopropyl)-5- iodothiophenes. The syntheses and physical propertie8 of 2-(2 (RS)-aminopropyl)- &iodothiophene and N-is0propyl-2-(2 (RS)-aminopropyl)-&idothiophene are described.
