摘要

A number of 2-substhted 5-nitrofurans have been reduced catalytically to the corresponding aminofurans. The aminofurans are relatively stable solids which can be acetylated with acetic anhydride, or condensed with 5-nitro-2-furaldehyde. Several new 2-substituted 5- aminothiophene compounds have been prepared.
