Abstract A series of cyclic and acyclic diamido-bis-sulfide ligands were synthesized by N- acylation of 1, 2-bis (2-aminophenylthio) ethane and 1, 4-bis (2-aminophenylthio) butane with acetic, malonic, and 3, 3′-dithiodipropionic acid chlorides or esters.
