摘要

Preparation of a series of 5-substituted 4-nitro-4-penten-1-01 acetate and related analogs is described. Many compounds in this category demonstrated confirmed inhibitory activity against Walker carcinosarcoma 256 in preliminary biological testing. Structure-activity study indicated that the nitroalkene portion of the side chain is essential for the oncolytic property.
