Abstract: Equilibration of the CY and p positions in~, ydiphenylallylcarbinylmagnesium bromide was complete after 5 hr at room temperature. Less than 0.3% of the isomeric cyclopropylcarbinyl derivative, however, is in equilibrium with the ring-opened species.
