Abstract

In the present work, the electrophile equivalents Cl+, Br+, SCN+, and NO2+ are generated from their respective sodium, potassium, and in some cases ammonium salts (M+ X-) by reaction with Selectfluor electrophilic fluorination agent in acetonitrile solution at room temperature.
