Abstract

From the many applications of this class of compounds, the cross coupling reaction with Grignard reagents catalyzed by Ni(II) constitutes one of the most useful. The reaction of vinylic selenides with PhMgBr and n-BuMgBr, catalyzed by NiCl 2 (Ph 3 P) 2 or Ni(dppp)Cl 2 , to give the corresponding cross-coupling products has been described.
