Abstract

The isolation of pure [2-(phenylazo) phenyl-C, N′] tellurium (IV) tribromide (6) has been achieved by modifying the reported procedure, which involved transmetalation of [2- (phenylazo) phenyl-C, N′] mercury (II) chloride (7) with TeBr4.
