Abstract 1-Alkyl and 1, 8-dialkyl-1, 4, 8, 11-tetraazacyclotetradecanes (alkyl= benzyl or methyl) were synthesised through cis-aminal of cyclam which was obtained by reaction of glyoxal and cyclam.
