Abstract

A panel of amino acid analogs and conformationally-restricted amino acids bearing a sulfonic acid were synthesized and tested for their ability to preferentially inhibit the obligate cysteine–glutamate transporter system xc-versus the vesicular glutamate transporter (VGLUT).
