Abstract From the exudate of the bark of Ficus macrophylla Desf., cycloartenol, butyrospermol, and lupeol were isolated as their acetates. The leaves contained nonacosane, triacontane, hentriacontane, dotriacontane, tritriacontane," ceryl alcohol", and a new triterpene, moretenol. By degradative and mass spectrometric studies, the latter was shown to b3 3β-hydroxy-2lαH-hop-28-ene.
