Abstract

One reason why ferrocenylboranes are so popular for numerous applications lies in their ease of preparation. Mono-, bis- and tetrakis(dibromoboryl) ferrocenes are readily accessible via electrophilic substitution reactions,(48-51) and the parent compound FcBH 2 has also been isolated and structurally
