Abstract

Abstract The mass spectra of bicyclic phosphites of the type P (OCH 2) 3 CR, where R= CH 3, C 2 H 5, and C 3 H 7 and NO 2, are reported, and their fragmentation patterns analyzed. Unlike trialkyl phosphites, these cyclic phosphites do not yield a large number of phosphorus-containing fragment ions resulting from hydrogen rearrangement.
