Abstract: The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of (E)-or (Z)-vinyl iodides with (E)- or (Z)-vinylstannanes gives good yields of stereoisomerically pure unsymmetrical dienes with the same double bond geometry as present in the coupling partners.
