Abstract

(m-CnOPhO) 8PcM (M= Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and H2; n= 8~ 20) complexes have been synthesized. The Co (d7) and Cu (d9) complexes show a Colho mesophase with a short stacking distance at 3.3 Å. The Ni (d8) and H2 (d0) derivatives show a Colrho (P21/a) mesophase with a little bit longer stacking distance at 3.4 Å.
