Abstract

Some hydroxyethyl and hydroxypropyl derivatives of D-glucose and of 2—acet—amido—Z— deoxy—Dglucose have been synthesized for use as reference substances for structural studies of hydroxyethylated and hydroxypropylated hyaluronic acid.
