Abstract

A novel water-soluble and polymerizable photosensitizer, zinc tetra (N-carbonylacrylic) aminophthalocyanine (Zn-MPc), was synthesized by the ornament of zinc tetraaminophthalocyanine (Zn-APc) with maleic anhydride and characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR, and MALDI-TOF mass spectra.
