Abstract

A few years ago, we prepared the first saturated cyclic sulfinamides which represented a missing class of heterocyclic compounds.'P2 Since these compounds are prepared by the oxidative cyclization of appropriately substituted amine disulfides with iodine in aqueous solution, they must be hydrolytically stable.
