Abstract

The preparation of symmetric and" metric trialkylfluorosilanes, from C s H lr to CI~ HIT, by various methods is reported. Since tho synthesis of unsymmetrical trialkylfluorosilanes involves preparing the alkyloxysilane and alkyltrffluorosilane as intermediates, the synthesis of those compounds is also described. The physical properties of all the newly synthesized compounds are reported.
