Abstract

We report the case of a 21-year-old pregnant women (36 WA) presenting intensive headaches and visual disturbances. Those sellar compression symptoms have made us suppose the diagnosis of autoimmune hypophysitis. MRI has confirmed the typical aspect of symmetric enlargement of the pituitary gland with a strong and homogenous enhancement after gadolinium. This pathology associated to a high morbidity and mortality due to partial or complete deficit of the anterior pituitary hormones, shall be reminded more often.Copyright 2010 Elsevier Masson SAS.
