Highlights ► We present the Occupational JP8 Exposure Neuroepidemiology Study (OJENES) design. ► We compared group characteristics, JP8 levels, and neuropsychological performances. ► Few descriptive differences were found between exposure groups except JP8 levels. ► Most performances were not significantly different from task reference scores. ► Confounding and misclassification biases are not major concerns for the study.
