Selenium sulfide is a kind of antifungal reagent. It present orange to reddish brown powder, which smell light hydrogen sulfide. It is available as a 1% and 2.5% lotion and shampoo, which is normal as ketoconazole shampoo, selsun blue shampoo. salicylic acid shampoo for tinea versicolor treatment. Selenium sulfide is made from selenious acid and hydrogen sulfide. It is insoluble in water, however soluble in ammonium monosulfide.

Applications
1. Selenium sulfide add in shampoo for anti-dandruff and curing certain scalp infection, which reduce itching, flaking, irritation, and redness of the scalp. It is also raw material for animal medicine usually.

2.Selenium Disulfide is for treating pityriasis versicolor, a fungal infection of the skin and tinea capits, a fungal infection of the scalp.

3. Selenium Sulphide is one kind of antifungal agent, which is curing seborrheic dermatitis. Selenium Disulphide is raw material for some kinds of cream in medicine.
